I'm considering make an RFA bid on DJ Williams.
Rightnow I have Demarcus Ware, Ernie Sims, Clark Haggans, James Harrison, & Omar Gaither at OLB.
I know that DJ will be moved to OLB as he's being moved to OLB in DEN.
If I make a bid for him it will be at league min in my salary cap league.
So to get a proven commodity in a 26 year old stud would you give up the 2.06 and a 2009 1st rounder at league min will open up a lot of cash for me seeing that I won't have to pay a 1st rounder next year and a 2.06 player this year. I'm not up against the cap and I did go 17-1 this year as well.
I have 2 1st rouunders in 2009 and both teams won their divisions last year.
Thanks in advance as I know this is a difficult decison to make as an outsider but please ask me any questions.
It's an EFS enhanced league with 10 points for and OLB sack and I can play ILB's out of position.
My ILB's are Kirk Morrison, Gary Brackett & Will Witherspoon.

How many teams ?, how many OLBs do you start ?.
Not an easy call to make without that info, but I'm not sure why you think DJ will give you more big plays than the other guys on your roster ?. He has a total of 4 sacks to his name.. Seems to me you're overpaying for him.

Pass.
Mid second and a future first for a luxury isn't a good deal unless the cash you free up allows you a major upgrade elsewhere. Depends on the workings of your league, those draft picks can probably fetch something more immediately helpful. Williams probably finishes 4th on your OLB depth chart and the marginal upgrade at ILB isn't worth that cost.
