I don't follow the NL, does Griffey still play center? If that's the case I think the time has come to move Swish to first, Paulie has been brutal. Where do you bat him. Can't move Dye or Q, does Thome drop down to 6? If this happens the Sox could do the lefty / righty combo all the way down the lineup. Offense looks good, but the defense needs to improve big time to play thru October.

No. He plays RF. He has a very difficult time playing CF. The Reds moved him because he just can't cover the ground anymore.

Can Thome play 1st base any longer? This is a trade tha has to be approved by KG. Loads of rumors flying that this could be a deal that sends him some where else. All I know is PK has to be out of the lineup. I think Griff Jr. is a liability in center from a health perspective so in a sense, he is another left handed DH or the true center fielder.
