Who's this guy that just had an 11 pitch, 1-2-3 8th inning?
Jerry Owens......here's your one way ticket back to Charlotte, etc. We take Swisher out for him to run and in one pitch he goes idiot. You can't be that absolutely stupid on the base paths in a pennant race. He's in CF on the substitution now, but I wouldn't be surprised for him not to see the field again after this game.

K Rod only threw 11 pitches in the 9th. Shocked he's not out there for the 10th.

Lite ™When I posted this it was the end of the 10th where they had 1st and 3rd with nobody out and a chance to win it and crapped the bed.
It's nice to get a win. It's nice to be up 2 1/2. But it would have been nice if they didn't have to burn another 5 innings out of their bullpen in the process.

Yes, I read that on WS.com and am very grateful. Never much of a fan of DJ.
Hawk and Wimpy were great and I was sad to see him go.
I love Stone's knowledge of the game and hope Hawk and Stone have a nice chemistry. I don't think I caught any of the 7 games they have done together.

Everyone here knows I can't stand him, but he has played one heck of a 3bag since Crede went down. Not to mention your numbers above.
