What a game. Sox now at a season high 13 games over .500.
Probably Danks' best performance of the year. Love seeing Ozzie letting the kid go deep in the game. It would be a #######ed shame if they could get the kid a win. His ERA is around 2.50 now and he has a 5-4 record to show for it.
And The Cuban Missle is just amazing. I can see him developing into one of the top 2Bs in the American League over the next couple of years. Clutch at the plate and has looked deserving of a Gold Glove the way he's played 2B over the last month and a half.

This team is so hot and cold, due for another cold streak here. I hope anyway.

Alexei Ramirez is impressing the hell out of me. I heard he was a free swinger, but his plate approach seems very disciplined to me. Watching him with a couple 0-2 counts these past few games and he lays off the breaking stuff in the dirt and the high cheese. He's also hit three warning-track shots and one homer in the last two games. His swing reminds me a bit of Soriano. Quentin has been awesome, but I think Alaxei could be the real prize for the Sox.

IIRC, he was also signed before they moved Garland for Cabrera. They had to do something at SS. There was no one on the FA market and farm system is lacking any SS talent. I'd even dare to suggest that resigning Uribe wasn't the worst case scenario.

I would have voted for Longoria. Dye, with better stats than Manny (and Ichiro not having a super year by any means) should have at least been a reserve over JD Drew. No Sox pitchers kind of got screwed by all teams needing an A.S. With all of the Red Sox and Yanks, there was no room left for our guys. Hopefully they win the homefield for us, because they won't need it as T.B. kicks their tails.
Widbil83

Dye should take the write in vote.
It's a joke we had no guys from the bullpen selected. It's not like we have the best bullpen in the league or anything.
