Ozzie, come on dude, even you have to now realize that Linebrink isn't a closer. He's had success as a setup man. Dotel has had success as a closer.

The time to trade him came and passed last December...hopefully he can turn it around, but banking on a 32 year old who for some reason looks skinny(is it the high-socks?) probably isn't the greatest move. You gotta simply hope there is something left in the tank. Before the season I was pimping Fields as the 1B of the future + Konerko trade, but it appears as thoughFields - Baseball Cube Stats is ####ting the bed in AAA this season. What a debacle of a farm system...Gordon Beckham and not much else...

He's a 5 and 10 guy with a thick contract. He'll be about as easy to move as Sexson was.

Thank goodness to get a win in that crazy ### ballpark. As the Hawk said Saturday- it is like playing on a pool table with the fast infield. That Sunday box score was just insane- 61 LOB in that game 39 hits 23 runs 4 errors (3 by the Sox). PK 0-6 9 LOB 1 error. Stay hot captain!

as much we may be frustrated with PK play, I think Jose C is a bigger concern.

PK his whole career here was never consistent. a bunch of cold and hot streaks. but at the end of the year he will gets his numbers.

so far so good, were in 1st place, and 1/2 of the season is done. and we were pick as a 4th place team according the "experts"
