I think if Crede get's close to fair market value he will stay. I am hoping Williams can keep Cabrera for next year but if it means losing Crede due to money then OC can make way for the missile at SS and maybe Richar or Ozuna at 2nd next year.
Something that can help improve the Starting rotation would be great. Whether it is a strong arm for the pen freeing up Masset to start or a starter like AJ Burnett being acquired. This years team has showed they can win and deserve every shot at making a run for another championship. If it means trading Fields so be it.
A big acquisition could be just the thing to get the players focused and playing consistently better. This great game here and there and then a clunker or two is frustrating as heck.

Cabrera and Ramirez staying productive should help stabilize the offense. If Javie or Hernandez do not get it together after their long breaks maybe Masset can get a shot at 4th or 5th slot in the rotation.
Q is a gamer if he stays healthy the middle of lineup will be fine.
The Fat Kid is hopefully healthy and back to his best form or the bullpen might be in trouble.
Go Sox.
Contreras?

Yep see how frustrated Jose has me.

Would be nice but what seemed like a luxury at 3rd base last year might be a necessity next year. All I know is we need someone on the pitching staff to help pick up the pace. The pitching can be solid but until the errors at large stop there will be no taste of Dom in a WS clubhouse this fall.

Dye gets RBI taken away from last month
QUOTE
The reversal of a scoring decision by Bob Rosenberg on June 30 has resulted in an RBI single taken away from White Sox right fielder Jermaine Dye.
Bart Swain, Cleveland's director of media relations, submitted videotapes to Phyllis Merhige, Major League Baseball's vice president of club relations, to challenge Dye's hit that Cleveland third baseman Casey Blake failed to make a play on.
The tapes were reviewed by a five-person panel that includes former players. The panel enforced its right to overule the decision.
As a result, five earned runs were erased from Cleveland pitcher Jeremy Sowers, who had his ERA lowered from 7.33 to 6.44.
Dye was less than thrilled when he learned of the reversal.

Why because the other team is so much better? White Sux are not better than the Tigers even given the obvious flaws in Tiger pitching. This team at best loses in the first round in the playoffs in 4 games. you know it, I know it, everyone knows it.

One run games are close and nail bitters.

It's tough losing a hard fought one-run game versus getting blown out.
I'll take what i can get right now. If that means getting to the playoffs, fine...I'll take it.

They rank 3rd in the AL in ERA. The two teams ahead of them won't be making the playoffs (Toronto, Oakland)
They rank 4th in the AL in runs scores. Two of the three teams ahead of them won't be making the playoffs (Detroit, Texas)
I think they'll take, and I'll like, their chances against just about anyone
