This left coaster will be driving about 20 hours this weekend. Just a heads up. The team thread will be slow to update. I'll try not to cause a delay otherwise.

I will also be out, leaving tomorrow after work and not returning until Sunday evening. Will try to keep up via the cell phone, but sometimes that doesn't connect well. Jeff T who is next to me in the draft has my cell number so maybe I can keep up and not cause too many delays. ON the upside I am seeing both of my children, my parents, my mother-in-law and my granddaughter! Good Times!

very interesting, he went at 105 in SSL1 and 85 in SSL2, now 69 in SSL3. He should go early 4th round in SSL 4. Is there some kind of Fatdale news that I haven't heard?

I've always been a Lendale believer and unfortunately he was next up on the FBG rankings so I didn't want to roll the dice on him not being available...I saw him as the last 250 carry back available. I think he's a safer pick than several back that went ahead of him including Jacobs, Maroney, Turner and McFadden.

Really the newly published FBG rankings forced my hand here.

Thanks for everyone's concerns. I'm ok. Not hurt at all so far. I'm lucky that he wasn't travelling very fast and I saw him just in time to swerve a little to "slightly" cushion the impact. Luckily, I was alone and the passenger side was it.

He at first tries to blame me for speeding but after my tough guy "don't pull that #### on me" look , he backed down pretty quickly. He must have known that wasn't going to fly because nobody is really going to be that scared of me. I told him to go get his info and we both walk back our cars. I get back out of my car and I see this little ##### driving off. I couldn't see his license plate and there was no ####### way I was going to let him get away. I don't care how ####ed up my car is...so the chase is on.

I end up in a low speed, 20mph chase with him through the streets of Venice. I think people were actually laughing at us. My passenger side is completely bent inwards with the right front wheel severly tilted, so my car is zig zagging all over the place (almost hitting several parked cars) and I'm trying to drive, get his plate # and dial 911 to get the cops on his ###. His car must have been equally ####ed up, because he couldn't pull away from me. Either that...or his 1980 Corolla has a top speed of 15mph.

I eventually, chase him down and pull in front of him and I'm about to go all MOP on him and he starts apologizing and whining about being scared because he didn't have insurance and is there any way we can settle this ourselves w/o the cops and insurance companies. BTW, the cops wouldn't even bother with me now that I was getting his info. F'n police...when did hit and run and driving w/o insurance become legal?

Anyways, I calm down a little and want to get as much info from this guy as possible so I agree I won't report this to my insurance agency for a couple of days, as he has this great plan to get insurance first and then we'll report the accident. Yea...the insurance companies won't see through that.

I zig zag my way back to my place and call my insurance agent. It actually works out better for me he doesn't have insurance. I don't have to pay my $1000 deductible and they'll go straight after him for the money. Otherwise, I would have had to fork over the grand and wait for the insurance companies to argue over #### and they would eventually reimburse me.

It sucks my car will probably be in the shop for a month and looking back, it may not have been the genius move to chase him but considering everything, it appears to have worked out ok...so far.

I was congratulating myself all day about my genius of grabbing Julius Jones, but Fullback Fro is proving himself to be my nemesis. He has a similar draft mentality to me.

This is outside the box, but given the strength of the running game, excellence at qb and great O line, I think this will be a player that out performs draft position.

I am the same way, I don't know if it was the toe injury or when he and Moss swapped teams for a year, but never saw him being one who would perform to fantasy potential. Plus the Jets qb situation doesn't seem ideal to take advantage of his talent/speed.

I had a ton of time to consider these picks and I could have wasted a few more hours trying to decide. Rodgers ADP is all over the place. He may have came back to me on the next corner, but I decided against risking it. I'm with Bloom. AR is a top 10 QB this year. It's decisions like this that make the corners suxor, but I'm happy to have him considering the options. I was leaning Garrard and hopping Rodgers fell and became my QB2, so Garrard falling forced my hand.

eta: any other time of day and I pick in five minutes. Why does this draft hit me in the wee am or at lunch time?
