God bless the guy, everyone seems happy there and the team is more productive with him around, I'm just wondering what the resolution was to that.

He did get a haircut. Although the end result is not very noticeable. You can basically see the last name on the back of his jersey now whereas you could not before. Torre said it was a "process" which I take to mean that they compromised on getting the haircut he did and leaving it at that for now.

Yeah, Manny made a mild effort and Torre said that was good enough.

Manny got a token haircut so at least his hair wasn't covering his name on the back of the uniform.

Torre was fine with it because Manny did something.

I do not see what the big deal is about getting a haircut. If my employer was paying me 10 million a year and told me to get a haircut..I would get a haircut.
