There was some talk about him being a decent pickup in this thread. However, he's now listed as a backup at the FBG's depth chart.

In a league where good LB's are spread thin should I even consider keeping him?

I thought he was starting. I'm sure Jene or John would know more. I'd hold until you know for sure. He is worth a spot in a 14-team league if he starts. The little I saw of him in preseason, I thought he looked good.

For now, he and Blackstock are rotating at SLB, but Blackstock was getting the majority of the snaps in the W3 preseason game. With Brooks gone, it would appear that Jeanty might be ready relatively soon. Could be a three headed monster at that spot, with none of them guaranteed enough snaps to have much value. Blackstock probably holds the most value given his snaps as a pass rusher on third downs, but even that is marginal.

Johnson is worth having in the back of your mind. If the Bengals again have injury or poor play issues, he could end up in a Landon Johnson like situation at some point during the year.
