I've used the DD for 3 years for two Auction/Serpentine Hybrid leagues. We auction the first 60 players then do a serpentine. I never really used the auction function before this year because I didn't know how to trick the DD into assigning the $ to only the Top 60.

Then I saw a thread on Configurable by Position. So I set the numbers to equal 60: 9 QB, 30 RB, 18 WR, 3 TE. It assigns the values perfectly. However, after the 60 players, the next players listed were nearly all TE's (out of order) and a random WR144 or something. This is on the first page of the "Overall" tab. I wasn't worried because I figured it would reset to VBD after turning Auction off.

Other settings: Newest DD version downloaded yesterday. Schedule is set to 14 weeks Avg Pts (because we have double schedules) and 2 weeks playoffs. SOS is on. Draft others by ADP off. Start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/Flex/K (No Def/ST). Also entered 200 in the Def "Wait" box (never tried that before). Scoring has zero's for all IDP and all defense scoring.

Draft: So after getting near the end of the Auction portion, I switch the setup to "Joe's Secret Formula" and uncheck the Auction box. So everything resets.

Problems: Defenses immediately started showing up high in the "Overall" player pool. I ignore them, but by the 9th or 10th Rd Def/ST are taking up 80% of the top of the "Overall" tab (I had to constantly scroll up after each pick).

When it was time to look at a PK I believe 4 had been taken and we're in Rd 13 of a 14 Rd draft. I flip to the PK tab and it has JAX PK Scobee listed at #2 (top K available). So I take him and the next owner takes IND PK Vinatieri and I did a doubletake. I checked my Team Strength and sure enough, his PK strength is 134 and mine is 115. In the draft summary it shows Scobee as PK8 and Vinatieri as PK2. What am I missing here?

I was utilizing Game By Game here and there in between picks to see what was recommended. I would do Complementary RB, recalculate, check that tab. Then do Complementary WR, recalculate, then check that tab. Then Default, recalculate.

It just seemed like the players in the player pool were out of order, not to mention that Def/ST shouldn't even have been recommended at all. Any thoughts? Thanks.
