In my league we only start two IDPs and they can be from any position, but i almost always go with LBs. that said, i need to pick two to start in week one.

David Harris @ Miami
Paul Posluszny @ NYG
London Fletcher vs Seattle

I almost got my top three players but another manager snaked Jon Beason before i could get him.

anyway, which two should i plug in?

I'd sure like to have this problem.

I would almost always start Fletcher.

I'd probably lean to Posluszny because I question how much the Miami offense will see the field, which could limit the opportunities of Harris.

You can't really go wrong with any combination.

Good luck with this decision all season long. tongue.gif

Kidding aside, prepare yourself to make the wrong decision here frequently, but be reassured that your "bad" decisions aren't going to be that painful with this crew.

Seems crazy, but I think I'd sit Fletcher this week. I'm not overly impressed with the Seattle running game and there's no TE, slot WR to give Fletcher a bunch of chances over the middle. And I really like Posluszny this year. If you can't bring yourself to sit Fletcher -- and I can't blame you -- I think I'd sit Posluszny. Harris should still get enough opportunity this week and is the only threat to make tackles in that front seven.

Thanks guys. i got Fletcher in the last (17th) round. i had planned on drafting Vilma or Kirk Morrison there, but when Fletcher was there i couldn't pass on him.
Last year everyone looked at me like i was crazy when i drafted Morrison, and that worked out nicely. most owners in my league don't do much IDP research, i plan on maing them pay dearly this year.

i went with Flecher for starter #1, and man am i ever happy that i did. 12 solo and 5 assists = 29 points in my league!!! now i just need to hope that the fantasy football gods don't downgrade his production overnight, and that David Harris lives up to being my #1 IDP.

Glad you did. Not sure Fletcher would have done as well against Seattle. wink1.gif

what the heck happened to David Harris today? 5 lousy tackles? looks like you were right Mr' Bramel, i will be making the wrong decision all season long here. Pos ended up with 17 on my bench compared to Harris totaling 10 as my 2nd starter.
