Sammy Knight may be inactive, so check that before the game starts.

The Giant safety situation looks like a mess right now.

Might be the sign that age has finally caught up to Mr. Knight. shrug2.gif It's not Butler or Johnson are all world athletic beasts, so Knight's experience would help. That would make one believe that physically he might be losing a step or two.

Knight has been slow since KC. The Jags spent a lot of time trying to hide his shortcomings. He is smart and a hard hitter but very slow.

Butler is completely underrated and unfairly maligned by Giants fans. He is both athletic and knows the defense the best of the safeties. I bet Phillips steps in for Johnson and you see Butler start all year long and be an under the radar player ...

we loved the guy but he's a liability for most teams with his lack of speed.
