I can start 4.
Scoring System:
1 pt tackle
.5 pt ### tackle
4 pt sack
4 pt FR
3 pt FF
4 pt INT
6 pt TD
Patrick Willis vs AZ
B. Urlacher @ CHI
Derrick Johson vs NE
DJ Williams @ OAK
J. Peppers @ SD
Willis is a must start and I like D. Johnson and Urlacher though I'm not sure how their stats will be going against 2 highly ranked offenses. Does that matter? I need help w/ the final spot between DJ & Peppers. The latter has been huge in the pre-season but going on the road vs a strong SD o-line if they'll keep him in check and limit the sacks. DJ should have a lot of opportunities against OAK and their running attack. Thanks!

I would start the 4 LBs. Rivers is not the easiest QB to sack.

It's going to be extremely difficult to predict Peppers' big games -- unless he has a 20 sack season and every game is a big one. If you've got him rostered in a league like this, with the benefit of Willis/Urlacher in your top two slots, he's worth the risk every week unless you have a clearly better option because he'll win you games out of the IDP4 slot more often than he'll cost you.
So, the question becomes, is he better than Johnson or Williams? I think Derrick Johnson will be a very good player this season and I think the Patriot matchup is better than it may look. I'm not as sure about the Oakland matchup, but if Williams does well this week (assuming a normal number of tackle opps) he'll make the Peppers decision a little harder. This week, though, I'm risking Peppers and every week after that during the first month unless Peppers totally flops or both Johnson and Williams both produce like LB2+ in your system.
