I've been using a custom Excel spreadsheet for several years now to manage my multiple fantasy teams.

I've used the web query function to pull down the weekly projections from footballguys without problems. The spreadsheet actually functions quite similarly to the MyFBG portion of the site, however I have it set up so I can view all my teams on a single page. I use it to make weekly starting lineup decisions as well as review any potential free agents that may be better spot starts.

This year, however, when I try to pull down the weekly projections it literally "hangs" excel for a good 15 minutes or so per query. I'm only experiencing this with the queries against the footballguys website. I did a quick test with a blank spreadsheet and simply tried to pull down QB projections with the same result. It does work, eventually, but takes a looooong time to complete.

Has something changed that might be causing this? Any ideas how I might get around it? Or am I out of luck?
