First let me state that I think the DD appllication is fantastic and the overall footballguys.com resource is a great one. However, every year I have the same two complaints. Both deal with the Lineup Dominator application.

First, it is never released until week two. Unfortunately, the season begins in week one. I'm not to sure why this can't be released on time year after year.

Secondly (and most importantly), the LD updates are never released until Wednesday each week. This is after most every league's waiver deadline, rendering this software useless for what would probably be it's greatest feature: the ability to make more informed and precise waiver wire pickups week after week. I understand that alot goes into this, but can't something be done? Perhaps having an initial release each week that doesn't count the Monday night game? Or even the Sunday night game perhaps? Any Tuesday release would be a significant improvement over the current Wednesday morning release.

Where are the individual defensive players on the trade dominator?

You can get the same results in DD by zeroing out all weeks in the Game by Game Projections except for Week 1. Tuesday LD would be nice, but like you say, a lot goes into it and these guys do work in addition to what they do at FBG...although I bet they do a lot less (at work) these first few weeks of the season.

Nope, that won't work, because the projections haven't been updated yet. We need week 2 forward. Week one's projections will do nothing to help for waiver wire pickups this evening.

The Trade Dominator will do pretty well for immediate pick-ups. You lose strength of schedule, but it's still showing the best available players.

Yes the link is wrong. I have LD from last year and just did the data import, and it's whacked. Has Travis Henry and S.Alex in the top 10 RB.. Brady in the top 10 QB..

No, I've tried every known workaround and nothing's right. And you'll need 4.0 to ensure all the players are matched up correctly. 3.0 won't work.

The LD link takes you to TD download. It's SNAFUed.

Right click the link and copy it. Paste it to the browser and change TD40a_Setup.exe to LD40a_Setup.exe

In my LD it's showing Colston with a 0 for Week 2 and a some data for Samie Parker...

Yeah, Samie with a whole 1.6 points for the season, I'm guessing that's old. Looks like Colston was fixed for this week but he makes a speedy recovery and gets 12+ points starting in week 3. Great for week 2 but does nothing for going forward and trying to get some wavers in tonight. Oh well.
