After downloading LD and importing my Week 01 Files from DD I want to save it as My league.(what I thought would be).Lineup Dominator files.

But it defaults to Draft Dominator Files (*.ddf).
Is this correct?

Yes, they both use the same extensions (.DDF)... and use the exact same file format.

Typically, you want to give it a different name... so that you can go back later (even next year) and see how the draft went.

I usually save a starting file (this helps for next year too, so that you don't have to clear a file out). Named something like: FESL_2008

Then after the draft, I do a File Save As... and I append a "_Done" to it. For example: FESL_2008_Done.

Then after the weekly updates with the Lineup Dominator, I save it as FESL_2008_Week. Some people even save each week, like FESL_2008_W01, FESL_2008_W02. I don't get that crazy though.
