Okay, I'm mock drafting. It's the 10th round and I need some good WRs to fill out my flex slots on my roster.

When my turn comes up, based on how I have the weekly weights customized for my season, it shows me Brandon Lloyd.

If I go to the game by game and enter "0" for the games that have "Ws" by them and "2" by the games with "L" or "?" by them and hit Recalculate, I get Joey Galloway.

If I reset the numbers back to my custom setting and hit "Find Complimentary WR" it gives me Peter Warrick.

Which is it??? Is Lloyd the best pick? Is Galloway? Or is Warrick???

Help me understand this, please!!!! wallbash.gif

I think it is saying Brandon Lloyd is the best player pt total-wise, Joey Galloway may not help you much during the season but he's your best bet for the specific weeks you're looking at, and Peter Warrick helps you the best overall given your other players (Brandon Lloyd as a pick doesn't consider the other players on your roster, but Warrick does.) Which is best? .... depends. I'd probably go with specific week fill-ins but look at upsides of each player.

Precisely. The different choices are there because you are changing the parameters for your 'best value'. If the player never changed when you altered anything, what good would the functions be?

mad sweeny nailed it...

You are giving it different parameters, so you should get different results... In the first case you are weighting it based on your custom scoring... and in the second case you are weighting it on a Complimentary WR. The first case will help you with your division opponents or how every you weighted the season. The second case will give you a more rounded WR corp. The choice is up to you as to which you want more... We just provide the tools to evaluate it.
