Full Version: Reconciling Projection (top 200) and DD Best Value

Maybe I am completely missing the boat, however, I finally did a mock draft in my udated DD (using most current projections) and found some discrepancies that I can't figure out.

If I look at my cheetsheet it does reconcile to the latest projections for Performance leagues (as of 8/25). However, these do not reconcile to the Top 200 Performance article posted by Dodd today (8/26). So I tried a mock draft and selected the recomended best value pick for a few rounds and found that the DD best value pick defult did not make sence in cetain instances. For example, it recommends taking A. Green with the #3 pick instead of Duece M, who is listed ahead of Green - and the projections have Duece scoring 21 more total points than Green.

I could image this could be due to "value" drafting, however would have expected that to occur later in the draft, not at the #3 pick. Especially, when Dodds article has the FBG rank for Dues at #3 and ADP at #4. Effectively, looks like DD defaults to ADP, not "value" drafting. Isn't DD supposed to indicate the best value for us vs. merely ADP.

Totally confused - do I use DD best value recommendation or Dodds article (which makes more sense) as my guide?

Help! draft is tomorrow night !!

The DD is tailored towards your scoring that you entered. The Top 200 is generalized... You can kind of use both for a guage, and then pick the guy that you like best.
