I've searched the forum for flex calculations and I still can't figure it out - seems that most of the flex questions involve the DD. Can someone please help me?
I'm using the VBD Excel App. to draft from tonight and am having difficulty understanding the RB, WR, and TE Flex numbers on the imput page.
14 team league
Start :
1 QB
1 RB
1 WR
1 TE
3 FLEX (RB/WR/TE)
Can anyone tell me how to tweak the flex computation to accurately reflect this? Calculating the list using the stock numbers, it seems like WRs are over valued still.
Any help would GREATLY be appreaciated.

The key here is that you can enter decimal points for starters. Sort the top 30 or so players at each RB/WR/TE position. Then sort these 90 players together. Now, for example lets say you have 12 teams. 12 * 4 = 48 spots. Count down the first 48 spots, then go back and count how many RBs are in the top 48, likewise for WRs and TEs. Now take that count for each postion and divide by 12. So for example if you had 30 RBs, 14 WRs, and 4 TEs. You would enter 2.5 (30 / 12) for the RB starters, 1.166 (14 / 12) for the WRs, and 0.3333 (4 /12) for the TEs. This is how you manually do flex.
