2024 Cowboys Thread. Tyler meet Tyler… also did you meet Tyler???

I’m pretty happy with the draft so far. They have filled needs while also seemingly still going BPA. The trade back was great, and the Beebe pick made it outstanding!

Entrepreneur Guys 2.0: The Side Gig

My wife and I did this the past few years. She’s a teacher so it’s perfect for her summers off. We started out with the same equipment you did. We setup at the school youth football on Saturdays. 10-4 or so and would bring in about $800 profit. The local HS booster got a lemonade from us and...

Half off Orphan team in long standing 12 team dynasty

Team needs quite a bit of help, but it does come half off next season. $75 fees each year, $37.50 this upcoming season. Long standing 12 team league (since 2005) with most of the original owners. Great league. Roster And the bad news, this team only has 2.13/4.11/ and 5.01 in the upcoming...

Going to be making some pretty good money off of 3/28 $50 and $70 calls I bought last week.

Jury Finds Realtors Conspired to Keep Commissions High

That would be a huge hit on unemployment. Brokers as well. Wasting money paying them, why do they deserve to get paid? The biggest issue with this whole thing was selling agents being able to determine what to give a buyers agent. Yes, some shady realtors won’t even mention a house to someone...

Jury Finds Realtors Conspired to Keep Commissions High

My wife is a realtor. I wouldn’t say we are living the life of luxury that some seem to think realtors are living. Buyers agents can show 10-20 houses sometimes and not get a dime, sometimes driving up to 50 miles. Then the buyer stops looking, finds a for sale by owner, or is just...

    WR Marvin Harrison Jr., ARZ

Rookie hype hitting full force. Two generational talents in this draft?

    Mortgage Rates

I got 6.75 VA loan in July. Did not buy down because I assumed rates would drop before I got value with the buy down. I would like to try and time it to where I get at or near the bottom of what will be the new normal. Where do you see that being? 4%?

    Stock Thread

Have a decent amount of cash that I will be needing next spring. Recommendations for an almost completely safe place to park this for 6-8 months and get some decent return?

2023 Dallas Cowboys — On to the offseason. Let’s Go Bucs!

Not sure why. Martin was paid the highest contract ever for a guard at the time. He still has time on that contract and is getting older. We have Ceedee and Micah among others that need paid, Diggs just got paid also. Dak about to get a new contract as well. Can’t pay everyone. Martin is a...

Will definitely send you a PM when I go to refinance.

    Mortgage Rates

@Chadstroma I thought I talked to you a year or two ago and you couldn’t do WV, but you gave me a guy. I did call him and his rate was in the 7’s at the time. Sorry if I remembered wrong though. @-OZ- I have a lender that we do business with through an LLC for short term rentals, we can do 15%...

    Mortgage Rates

In the process of closing right now. Used USAA VA loan and locked in my rate on 7-5-23, and locked at 6.875%. I called around to shop rates and that was the best I could find. I didn’t buy down the rate because, to me, it wasn’t worth it if rates drop back down in a year or two and I refinance...

    Stock Thread

Newer to investing and have followed advice in here along with Motley Fool Stock Advisor. Not very educated on ETFs and bonds. Which ETF or bonds should I be looking to purchase, and why are they a better option than to continue investing in stocks right now?

    Mortgage Rates

Called around and was told with my VA IRRL I could get 2.25% for 30 years at the cost of a little over a point. He said that cost could be rolled into the loan. Other option was 2.7% at no points.    We plan to be in the house for 20-30 years, which is the best option?
