I have been going back and forth with another owner with some trade banter. I like to be an aggressive trader but sometimes I shoot myself in the foot. I feel like I have a chance to win this year but with this trade it could limit that chance. BUT I do think it potentially sets me up for a few...
I have been offered this trade and would like some input. I am on the fence but leaning towards no. Anyway, here is the offer.
Aaron Rodgers
Felix Jones
I get
Romo
Ray Rice
We start 2 rb's. My other Backs are, ADP, Turner, Ryan Matthews. My back up QB is Cutler. The reason I am thinking...
I am in the fourth year of this dynasty league and trading is tough. Most times it feels like I have to over pay to get things done. I won it the first year and have made the playoffs the last two years. I have had an aggressive off season trying to get better. I have made a few trades I am...
I think Favre definately helped Rice reach his potential. While he helped Rice, I think Rice helped Favre look good as well. Is it coincidence that Favre had his best year? Rice had to make several spectacular catches on poorly thrown balls. Catches that most Wrs would not have made. Favre...
I think Rice helped Favre as much as Favre helped him. He went and got some balls some WR's never would have been able to catch or position themselves to catch. I do think he may see a few less targets because Sage or Travaris who don't have the guts to throw it deep like Favre does. That being...
Favre said he loves to see Rice one on one as he thinks nobody can stop him. Don't have a quote but the announcers mentioned it a dozen times during the game.
I am a big Rice fan and it is nice to finally see him putting it together and also have a QB who can get the ball to him. I almost gave...
I traded for him in both of my dynasty leagues this offseason. I love the way he plays, practices, works hard. He seems like a tough nosed football player. I have Mcgahee handcuffed to him in both leauges but I am hoping after this game there is no doubt about who gets the bulk of the work.
New England was forced to trade Cassel for cap reasons. The league sort of had New England over the barrel becasue they had a time limit to make a deal. Thus the potential trading partners had a leg up in the deal over New England. Denver had Cutler under contract for 3 more years. They...
There are a lot of successful teams out there who are highly successful without a stud WR1. Pittsburgh doesnt has a TO type WR and they won the superbowl. Neither does Tenn, Jets, Dophins, Ravens and they were all playoff teams. Is is all about creating mismatches with your players in your game...
Teams did have to game plan for TO but Dallas wasn't and isn't a one trick pony (although that is what TO wanted) Witten is still a stud and if teams crowd the line he will and has consistently proven that he can get open and deliver when needed. Big playmaker for the Cowboys. I agree Romo...
I am in the minority here but I actually think this move will help the offense. (not necessarily in total points or yards but in consistency) The struggles last year seemed to be driven from Owens making noise to get the ball more, them trying to force the ball to him more and having miscues...
I couldnt agree more. I have quietly held that same belief in my dynasty league until I could get my hands on him. Now I tell everyone in that league that he reminds me of a young Emmit Smith. Lets just hope he starts getting some of that same production next year.
Benson is much younger and I think he still has some upside. Ward has had a solid year but in past years he has really had problems with injuries. That may be why he didnt get much interest last year on the free agent market.
