Sure could, but a few people were arguing Mendenhall would have very little chance of succeeding because his new situation was horrible for running backs. I was merely pointing out the the AZ situation has and will continue to change throughout the offseason.
My point was Arizona has made some improvements in important areas this offseason, so naturally it's safe to assume the team as a whole will be much better this season. I don't think I ever compared Carson Palmer to Russell Wilson or Colin Kaepernick, so I'm not sure where you're going with that...
Lets rewind a year, how would your response of "because the 49ers & Seahawks are already there" have looked? The 9ers looked solid, but the Seahawks weren't very highly thought of. They had some very talented players, but they weren't considered an "elite" team. Now lets look at Arizona:1)...
Ouch, maybe for Rice alone, but Ray Rice AND Vincent Jackson for a handful of 1st round rookie picks? If the team is rebuilding and those were the only two valuable players I can understand why, but would have gone after something a bit more guaranteed
This blockbuster of a deal went down in one of my leagues yesterday:
12 Team 1 PPR, QB-QB-RB-RB-WR-WR-TE-Flex-K-DEF
Team A Gave: Santonio Holmes, Mikel Leshoure, 4.02, 4.08
Team B Gave: Anquan Boldin, 3.03, 3.07
Yea Charles pretty easily for me as well, even in a 1.5 PPR for TE's. Gronk/Graham and I'm switching sides. Would rather keep Charles and get similar production at a much cheaper price from Olsen/Witten or take a chance on a VD/Finley/Fred Davis etc
Is it just me, or is this the best time to sell if your a Beanie owner? I think him being released will cause his value to peak while people try to connect the dots on teams he could possibly play for. The slim chance he ends up in one of ATL/GB/PIT/NYJ should be enough for people to roll the...
So the market value for the 1.08 is ranging from Brian Hartline to Steven Jackson? Some people have been doing some darn good selling today hahaI'd rather have the 1.08 than a one year low end RB2/High RB3 rental (sjax) and probably wouldn't give a 2nd for him if he ends up staying in STL. 1.08...
I could see someone going either way on Andre Johnson/Crabtree depending on win now or compete now with an eye towards the future team building methods.. but I'd rather have Andre than Cratbtree and Pettigrew over DHB pretty easily."Johnson was finally healthy, but will that last?"I...
For the side GETTING Wilson..?Give me Crabtree instead of Wilson and Moreno/Richardson each over Williams. I guess massive differences in player values are why trades happen
Same here. Give me Lynch for that package and I'd tell him he can keep Amendola. I'd rather plug a difference maker into my startin lineup than fill it with a WR2 averaging WR2 numbers and a prospect WR (looks good, but still)
