Wow. This is one of the better posts I’ve seen on this forum. Cheers on the opportunity to upgrade and hope it works out! Agreed on not obsessing over financing for the right place at the right price. Life is short. The right house can have a monster impact on your day to day. Good luck mane!

OFFICIAL - Buying / Selling / Moving Thread

Yeah we talked about it more and the only draw for us in FL was going to be my family... but the quality of life and associated costs of living in Florida are simply no way near what we can find in Chattanooga. Forum runs a pretty consistent line in moderation. Whether I agree with that line is immaterial as this ain't my bag, baby. But, you must give Joe & Co credit for being clear even if not always 100% specific. You're cool with it, or you move to Reddit.

The Death/Loss Of Religion In America

If most people could practice their faith without judging or pushing it on others... I'd be neutral. In my experience, that is not the case... generally speaking. So, I voted that it's positive for society to be less religious. Background: Former catholic who went to catholic school...

Ever changed your style as an adult?

Yep I wore a pair of Smartwool socks for a week once just out of morbid curiousity and they somehow did not stink. Id never do that in practical life but it's good to know you've got flexibility. Nice to see another Allpa fan. Best bag I've ever owned I think.

Ever changed your style as an adult?

If you travel a lot and flirt with one bagger life... Merino wool Tees (short and long sleeve) are life. About to bounce around 7 countries in the next 2ish weeks and I'm basically packed in a 22" carryon thanks to quality Merino Wool shirts/socks. Remove cold weather from the occasion and I...

    European Trip Planning

This is perfect, thank you! We will only be taking two train rides (Zurich > Lucerne > Zurich) so we will not need a rail pass but I'm confident that info will be very helpful to others too. Thanks!
