    Luck vs RG3

Bumping this one again. RG3's passer rating in the past 2 games vs NFC East foes, 146.1. Good analogy I saw, Andrew Luck is Larry Bird while RG3 is Michael Jordan.

MJD Likely Out an "Extended Period"

Brutal. MJD wasn't able to do anything in with Gabbert and this OL but Jennings is going to be a good pickup? I don't get that one. I wouldn't roster a single Jag.

    Fantasy football takes no skill

Very interesting discussion here. Just read through the whole thread and want to chime in given that I've actually got some knowledge and data around this. As a primer, my startup (which I won't link to in this post but it's always available in my signature-- I don't want this to come off like...

    Luck vs RG3

I'll bump myself on that one. He's in the MVP race as a rookie. Absolutely bananas.

    How underrated is McGahee?

Very underrated. I targeted him in every draft this year in the middle rounds and it's paying off handsomely. Any feature back in a Peyton Manning offense is a RB2 at worst. Meanwhile, McGahee is actually very good (better than Addai was in his prime) and is one of the best backs in the league...

    Luck vs RG3

Again, it's nuts, but RGIII doesn't really leave the pocket ever upon seeing his first read covered. Most or all if his runs are designed or options (as in the case of the 76yd TD, where he had an option to hit a hot route or take off once the blitz got upfield). The shortage of passing TDs is...

    Luck vs RG3

I'll start this with the caveat that I'm a Redskins fan, so I'm doing my best to keep RGIII in perspective, but this is not an accurate take on the current situation. You are suggesting that RGIII is not yet able to throw from the pocket and that has not been the case at all. RGIII has been...

    Kenny Britt

Had him stashed on my bench in a deeper league all season. Now that a big bye week is here, looking for a big performance in the flex.

Who is the rb to own in ARZ?

From what I saw of Powell in the preseason, I think he might be really productive. Powell looked like a real find with vision and burst through the hole. Of course, the OL will determine a lot here.

    Vick Ballard

I always talk about this guy as a sleeper because he historically he's put up RB1 numbers when given the chance, but don't count out Mewelde Moore here. The Colts have already gone pass-first and Moore is the best pass blocker and best out of the backfield as a receiver. Moore has been similarly...

Was drafting a QB in the first round a mistake?

Honestly, I thought drafting a QB in the 1st round was a mistake before 3 weeks of mediocre performances. Picking a stud QB in the 1st is a safe pick but won't win you any leagues and you've got to play to win. Per VBD, there are plenty of 2nd tier QBs, not so many 2nd tier RBs, WRs, TEs.

Guys who I think will catch TD's in week 3

Well, if anyone is "due" it's probably Megatron

    Hankerson time?

Skins fan so I had high hopes for Hankerson, but I haven't seen it. He looks awfully slow and clumsy for the smooth WR I was expecting. He didn't look so smooth catching that bomb from RG3 and his being open seemed more like facing a rookie in coverage than great route running. Call me...

Willis McGahee still a solid RB2?

MacGahee is still a good back and has more tread on the tires than other guys his age. I never wavered that he'd be redraft RB2 (being that I was sold on Manning returning to some level of prominence). Now if I were able to sell high, I'd always do so with an older RB. But I have MacGahee in a...
