Of course Lourdes had an emotional support llama......not too many Tiffanys, or Brendas with those.

That's how I felt hiking around the Sierra, especially further south......Tahoe is cool, don't get me wrong, but the country down by Bishop/Yosemite (Whitney, Little Lakes Valley, etc ...) is a postcard around every corner.

New Zealand, and Patagonia are on my bucket list as fly fishing destinations. The beautiful backdrop would be icing on the cake!

The entire eastern Sierra front is special. I really miss that part of the world.

For me, the beauty of Tahoe is not at the lake itself, but the area that surrounds it......but I understand what you are saying.

-Various spots along the eastern front of the Sierra (NV/CA) -The Metolius River/Camp Sherman -The lower Deschutes River canyon -various spots in eastern Oregon mountain ranges, and desert. I will also say I did a fair amount of exploring in central Nevada when I lived in Reno area.....about as...

Reading this now. I'm maybe not quite a quarter of the way in.....I'm at the part where's he's following Frank Dunning in Derry. So far, I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It's kind of got a nice, slow, steady pace, but not boring by any means. I'm sure that will change....lots of book left.

Yea, I'm not sure how you do something like this. My top 70 would be pretty non-chalky as I've never been much of a pop music fan.
