Look it's cool we both have our opinions. But you are 100% wrong if you think I hate everything the Commanders do. I've been a fan as long as anyone on this thread and most of my comments are positive. I make one questioning comment and I am hater who knows nothing because I'm not a GM...
Oh come on man...us fans have a right to ***** and comment. This is a message board. Keep in mind I've been a fan since before Gibbs 1.0 and have stuck by the team all these years. Part of being a fan is caring about the team and bitching and having an opinion. I will always root for them...
And Philly gets the stud CB who could have helped us. I sure hope Peters knows what he's doing. Sorry for being negative but I can't really see what he's doing. Getting more picks...but will they be impactful players? I dunno
This is a legit point. Wasn't our DB coach last year essentially a HS coach? It's too early to give up on Forbes and Martin...for that matter BSJ. I still think if one of top CBs is there at 36 we might pull the trigger, but yeah...there is no need to discard last year's rookies just yet...
Day 2 of the draft -- what do you guys think may happen. Looking at all the "Best Players left" boards is interesting. If you compare Washington needs vs. Best Players left boards, I now don't expect them to go OT at 36.
Instead, there are some good CBs and WRs up there.
CB: Cooper DeJean...
I surely hope they take a top tackle. Like you say, I've often hear Rosengarden mentioned, or that tackle from Yale. Are either of them good enough to start day one? I don't want to judge Peters too hard but I really felt the move was to move up to get a guy we could count on. Drafting a...
It looks like it. I hope it doesn't come back to bite us. The longer you wait, the longer you are getting a guy who cannot start day one. Then we are looking at starting tackles Lucas and Wylie and Daniels running for his life. OK, it's another case of my having PTSD from last year!
Fifth tackle gone at pick 18. Kind of agree that Peters might want to start working the phones to try to move up and grab a tackle worthy of starting day one. I've heard 36 and 78 might get you to the mid 20s. I think it's worth a try...
Possible injury concerns for Daniels have me very worried as well. But none of these QBs are a sure thing. Just got to trust Peters but am managing my expectations with respect to the subsequent performance of the new QB...
I like how you are thinking. We should be looking long term, beyond this year. I keep hearing over and over again that we have to take Daniels over Maybe or McCarthy because Daniels can play this year and Maye or McCarthy will have to sit. Is that really a logical way to look at the selection...

Daniels PR Rep (not agent) trying to do damage control: "Jayden Daniels is excited to be a part of the @nfl and wherever he is drafted he will be happy to be a part of that organization ."
