I'm similar but different. My dad died at 64 and his father at 69. Both heart attacks. I can t speak to my grandfather, he died before I was born, but my dad lived an unhealthy lifestyle, obese, alcoholic. When I would try to get in shape he would say "you can't outrun your genes" and we would...
It's a very interesting question. I think early on my wife deferred to me on just about everything but that's because she was raised in a way where she didn't often feel her input was valued.
I think now 17 years later we're probably closer to true 50/50. I am still a much more naturally...
Yikes. City and Colour aren't emo at all. I've seen both bands multiple times and Dallas Green is such a talented songwriter. I'd say in recent years as Nathaniel Rateliff has gone farther away from his S.O.B. shtick and more singer songwritery and City and Colour has gone more from a solo...
Anyone else have an impossible time finding t-shirts that fit right? It seems like no matter what brand and no matter what I do, in a large, I feel like I'm busting out of the thing with manboobs in the chest and then an XL just hangs off me and looks way too loose.
I'm not fit enough to wear...
I'm in that 30/30/40 range right now mostly yes.
I do think there are some benefits to emphasizing (clean, plant based) proteins and a healthy balance of macros. The changes that I've made on this plan have mostly been good ones. I'll reach for the higher protein, seedy brown bread instead of...
Based on all the "What song are you listening to right now" TikTok videos (and what better way to judge student culture and fashion is there) that I watch this is correct. And the jeans that are being worn are back to the very loose/baggy style.
I'm doing a fat loss/body recomp program and the target is set there. I've seen your posts re: protein before and mostly agree that most people are consuming way too much of it but I've decided to pretty fully commit to this program for the time being until mid-June and see what the results are...
Their conclusion is still:
In other words, given all the data available on red meat intake and risk of a subsequent outcome, we estimate that consuming unprocessed red meat across an average range of exposure levels increases the risk of subsequent colorectal cancer, breast cancer, IHD and type...
I visited a couple breweries in Toronto on Saturday and both had great veg options. Left Field obviously just uses a vegan mayo as their base, so their cole slaw, potato salad and most of their dips were vegan by default.
They have an extensive hot dog menu (ball park theme) and had veg...
Humans drinking cows milk remains very weird and kind of gross to me but I still love real dairy cheese, cognitive dissonance is fun!
I think there a lot of very good vegan fetas, parmesans and soft cheeses in general but they definitely haven't cracked the code on cheddar.

Made this last night and it was really good, we backed off the vegan butter to two tbsp (Miyokos brand discussed up thread), used light coconut milk and air fried the tofu without oil, all in the name of trying to balance the macros better...
