Damn, you got me beat. I have a 3 br 1200 ft and I think that's too big. Its even got a finished basement that I also never use. Now I do have 1.5 acres which I love for the woodsy setting and not having any close proximity to my neighbors.
Same. I have alerts set up for my checking account since they have weak fraud protection. Otherwise, if its an authorized charge with cc, I just dispute it.
Bend actually has some quality airbnb options. Living there full time is probably another story. I try to travel during the shoulder seasons to avoid the crowds and high prices unless its somewhere like Glacier when you have no choice.
Something to keep in mind if/when I come back. This is more of a drive around the state taking in all the highlights type of trip, but if Bend lives up to its reputation, I'll probably be back for an extended trip.
Got lodging all booked up. Got turo rental. Just need the airfare. Final itinerary. Got lady friend to agree to 2 more days. GM, I know its in the opposite direction you suggested, but I wouldn't expect any traffic in the evening Sat heading to the beach and then its just Sunday dealing...
I don't think he means his life is difficult. I think the difficult spot he's referring to is giving that comfortable life to pursue this other avenue that apparently leads to this long term wealth.
