I took your advice a few weeks ago while hunting and grabbed the Rye (again shaking my head that I picked up a bottle of JD- long story TLDR version got WAAAYY too far gone a long time ago to the point that to this day a sniff of the OG makes me nauseous.) Cracked the Rye open this past weekend...
I can remember being in Linder Business Center 'studying' while watching the game when Kenyon went down. Such a gut punch and you knew by his reaction it was something bad. That was OUR year. Dropped to a two seed, and out in the second round. What could have been...
For those of you who are thinking of checking out the Buffalo Trace facility, they've recently changed their rules on number of bottles allowed to purchase.
Per of age Adult:
It use to be 1 of the daily special and 2 BT
Then it went to 1 daily, 2BT, and 2 baby Saz

Took one about a decade ago. Some general observations/comments:
-go on the excursions or rent a car and explore on your own. There isn't a lot to do otherwise in a lot of the stops.
- make sure you get a room with at least a window, balcony would be ideal. One of my favorite things was going...
Firm believer in keeping the magic going as long as possible. I eeked out another year or two with the following:
Xmas eve we always go to inlaws and stay pretty late (which made lugging presents in from hiding spots a little tipsy interesting; especially the big wheel mentioned a few posts...

Garlic mashed potatoes with grated parm
Whatever side my brother brings
Salad
Rolls

Appreciate the thoughts. Knowing what I know now, I too come from at least two generations of it. Growing up I just thought that's what...
Sorry to hear about you trouble @DadIssues. I'm with the others, and it sounds like you as well, in that he needs to speak to someone. I like Rand al Thor's thoughts in terms of an approach.
My situation is far less dire, but still feel meh and have been dealing with it for years off and on...
Thanks El Floppo.
Do you have a hotel recommendation at each of those places? While I don't go on vacations to stay at the hotel. A good/bad one can really change the overall success of the trip.
Ok so making plans for next year's 20th anniversary, and trying to decide where to go. Roughly for a week, and not taking the kids. Looking for a good mix of things to do/activities (no diving), shopping (but not tourist/cruise traps), and relaxation. Probably 20% activities/40%...
Third vote for Dawn Power Wash. If I've got something sticky or nasty (I grill and smoke a good bit so lots of mess) that's the bottle I grab first.
Barkeepers Friend Definitely not on the chemical free smell side, but if you've got a nasty pot/pan to clean, or want to keep a nice set looking...
