I have no idea why I've been tagged here. I haven't played fantasy baseball since 2000 and real baseball since 1995. Any chance you've got the wrong guy?
We declare our keepers Tuesday night, then draft on Labor Day. We only keep a half-dozen guys, so I hate to spend a keeper spot on someone who's going to net me 0 points all year.
Plan is to not keep Dobbins, pick him in the middle of the draft, then put him on IR for the year.
Guys out for...
My league gives a third of a point per reception, other scoring parameters being the standard 1 yard = .1 pt., TD = 6 pts stuff. We have no designated TE position, they are considered WRs. Start 1 RB, 1 WR/TE, and then three RB/WR/TE.
Lineup is:
RB Devonta Freeman, Atl
WR/TE Rob Gronkowski...
Anyone have any insight on his calf injury? He got free and clear of the injury report for one glorious week, but now he's back on it with the calf injury (as well as being sick). Is the calf something he's been playing through for a couple weeks or is it a new injury?
I'm away from the TV, so all I can see are the stats. Can someone tell me why Hasselbeck has a pass attempt? It looks like Tennessee is just running the ball nonstop now, so I can't tell who is under center.
Last year, if a guy played on Thursday and he was in your starting lineup, you couldn't drop him until after Sunday. I'm guessing the same will apply to Wednesday-Thursday games this season. If you're talking about having a guy on your bench Thursday night and then dropping him after the game for...
In my 16-team keeper league, no one wanted to touch Ryan Williams or Shane Vereen. I figure they're both worth stashing on my bench and seeing what happens.
Instead of a blind bid, could the league switch to Sunday-Tuesday waivers where the weekly waiver priority is set by team's records? That would eliminate the money management aspect of it, but still keep him from hogging the FA wire all day Sunday. I don't see how he could argue against giving...
If I recall, it will give owners who are not signed into the draft about 10 seconds, and then it picks for them according to their list. One word of caution on yahoo's autodrafts, it will complete a starting lineup before it starts drafting bench players. So it will draft his QB/RB/WR/TE players...
Have the Raiders ever said exactly what is wrong with Moore? They say 'foot' on the injury report, but I've never heard if it is a sprain, a broken bone or something else.
ETA: Ok, I see they listed 'ankle' now. Never mind. :bag:
Burnt man seems seems crazy enough that there's no telling what the money is for. I think it's just sort of MacGuffin to keep him showing up from time to time. If I had enough cash to fly cross country to Boston and back, build a gazebo and get a new home security system installed, I'd be...
Didn't he miss a game last year because of an allergic reaction to an injection? That training staff needs to get its stuff together if that's what has happened.
The maid and Jessica Lange's character have each mentioned Lange having a heart attack. Lange says it in episode 2 when the maid catches her stealing the earrings ('You nearly gave me a heart attack!') and the maid says it in episode 3 when she sees Lange steal the silverware ('I knocked because...
