Hmmmm... Without knowing their relationship and how it started, I can see Tuiasosopo using this as a ploy to get close to Te'o and around the fame he carried with him. Tuiasosopo was always there instead of Lennay for the first "mark". Maybe the same thing was true here.

Lack of term limits

My line of thinking is similar, but I also look at it from a different way. Shouldn't this guy be able to make more than 1% better of a return than me, a guy not in finance? If I invest and get say a 7% return, I'm hoping a professional could get 8%.
