Just providing truth to the discussion, obviously it hit a nerve.Watch your tone in the future. Unsolicited personal insults are classless and not tolerated on the boards.
It's all over the place as a carry over from the other thread.
Must be nice to know ahead of time the margin will stay constant and the opposition doesn't kick a field goal in the interim, or there are no other changes to the score.Time for me to spit out the hook and swim away, though.
1) No, it did not go over my head because that is not how it is worded nor how it was presented based on this thread's specific scenario.2) Trying to justify a decision made at the 7 minute mark because you knew there would be no change to the margin in the score at the 2:30 mark is still...
If you are attempting to carry this over from the other thread, then you must have known ahead of time what would have transpired from the 7 minute mark to the 2:30 mark to be be down by this margin at this point. Knowing the future does offer quite the advantage.
Being tied at the start of college OT and trailing by 9 with a conversion and seven minutes to go in NFL regulation are not even remotely close to the same thing. You have to be fishing.
Yours is the only answer. 7 Minutes is the key. Way too early to go for two.Kicking the extra point makes it an 8 point game, so if your opponent makes a FG in the time remaining you are down 11, needing a TD+2/FG to force OT.Missing the 2 pointer and giving up a FG makes it a 12 point...
Absolutely. See, it was the Packers who offered him $20 Million to retire and he rejected them. They were loyal and he quit on them. It's pretty clear cut.
