I had read Harbaugh called McCarthy the best QB in Michigan history and Brady agreed with him. I know his stats were sort of mid because he wasn't asked to do alot. I went back and looked at Brady's college stats and they were even less impressive than JJ's. Just goes to show you never really...
Compared to what most thought could happen with MN getting their franchise QB but having to give up #23 and next year's first and potentially then some, coming away with JJ and Dallas Turner and retaining the #1 next year is a home run. Too bad Kwesi had to give up so many mid-round picks to do...
This Troy Franklin WR looks interesting. I see he was rated pretty highly but got sick, lost some weight, and had bad testing numbers because of it? Maybe MN takes a chance on him at 108 as a field stretcher to open up Jets, Addison, and TJ?
Agree. They will have a billion dollars of cap space to fill holes in free agency. Plus a pick or two of comp picks, maybe something from the Atlanta debacle and possibly a trade down in the first next year.
Maye was Minnesota's first choice and would have been optimized by O'Connell. For his sake hopefully NE doesn't wreck him. McCarthy seems like a student of the game, a leader, and a hard worker. He will excel under O'Connell given enough time. Fans need to be patient with Darnold out there for a...
Looks like the GM could use your help in explaining the move to his boss Arthur Blank.

What kind of market will there be for a 38-39 year old QB (going to be 36 headed into this season) who is going to demand more big guaranteed money contracts? Also I'm pretty sure he's not interested in moving his family again. I think he wants to retire a Falcon.
Penix would be 27 and only have 2 years left on his rookie deal if Cousins plays 3 years. 28 and on his final season if Kirk goes all 4. Head scratcher that does nothing to improve the team after dumping millions and millions of guaranteed money already into the position.
Minnesota replaced Kirk and Danielle with two cheap first round talents. Going to have a lot of cap space next year to build out the roster. Now give JJ his $$$.
