He talks about the Super Bowls that their teams have won. Is that the only metric? What about the quality and balance of those teams vs the quality of teams the '83 guys were on?
Is on HBO right now. Pure greatness.
I just can't turn the channel whenever this movie comes on. It was shot all around Austin & most of the school scenes were shot at Bedichek Junior High, where I went to 7th & part of 8th grade.
Man...Ben Affleck sure is believable as a cheesy...
There was some talk of him having a limited role last night against the "Boys. I didn't get to watch the whole game. Did he get in?
I'm looking for input & impressions from you Eagles homers on how he's coming along and what his role will be when he gets back.

He didn't overthrow Jones. Young threw a good pass, just above eye level, that would have put the team into position to try a long, GW FG. Jones dropped that pass, which hit him in the hands. He didn't fumble. He shoveled the ball to an OL who later fumbled.

1.04: Gore
2.07: Harrison
3.04: Wayne
Anyone else?
Today Kyle Russel (RF, University of Texas) hit for a "walkoff reverse natural cycle".
He put Texas up 2-0 in the first with his 24th homer of the year. This makes three straight games in which he's hit a 2-run, opposite field dinger in the 1st inning. He's a lefty with power all over.
He had...
I'm not a Colts fan in particular, but I thought this was pretty wild...
21 of 22 offensive and defensive starters on the Colts were either drafted by Indy, or undrafted signees who have never played for another NFL team.
QB - Peyton Manning
RB - Joe Addai
TE - Dallas Clark
WR - Reggie...
