Joe, I don't want anything but football in a football update. To me, providing a link to your thoughts would be best but it's your forum. Honestly, I'm adept at scrolling to what I came to see, so no biggie.
Is there even another FF community? This is where I was born and while I haven't been on as much recently, it's still my go-to place for all things fantasy football. Thanks and congrats for the longevity!
He's missed plenty though, that's why he's still drafting Edge guys. I just think there were better options than a guy recovering from an Achilles rupture. We shall see.
Colts fan, I give them a D.
Paye COULD be great but didn't have the sack production in college to warrant being picked at 1.21
Dayo is likely out at least half the year while recovering from a told Achilles. Hard to justify a 2nd.
All others won't start unless the TE they grabbed late...
The Packers brass have spent 9 of the last 10 1st rounders on Defense I do believe. And what has it gotten them? Yes, there are good players there, but you don't screw with your HOF QB who's been carrying you by not adding some shiny objects.
How many TEs have been selected in the top 5 of NFL drafts over the last 25 years? I happen to think Pitts is a generational dude, so not sure we've seen a case study for his slot and ability before.
One of my favorite follows on Twitter is Bullish on Pitts and especially in a TE-premium league. Said he'd take him 1.01 in that format even with Superflex.
I love Pitts but don't see Atlanta as a great fit. By the time they get him worked into that offense, Ryan will be ready to retire. If I'm Atl, I'm trading down.
Good input. In my particular case, I have Murray and Mayfield. But I also have Kittle and Hockinson. So I fell like I have the flexibility to go Pitts here especially when I think this QB class is overrated. But, was just asking in general. To me, there are a clear group of 5 players in this...
Not many are going to stop Smith off the line IMO. And just put him in motion and that defeats hard press coverage. He reminds me so much of Marvin Harrison. Gonna be special if he can stay healthy which I believe he will.
This is a rookie draft so not sure what you mean. Yes, I guess just based on points potential you could just rank the top 5 QBs 1-5 in this format, but if I'm projecting each of the rookies in my top 10 list to fall at #12 of their position then TE is the best on VBD methodologies, correct? ...
That's interesting. Not sure I agree. Based on my OP, I see a 200 point dropoff from TE1 to TE12. That's significant. If you can gain that much of an edge it's as much a gamechanger as QB1 to QB12.
Now, the question is, do you believe Pitts is the guy who can become the TE1 overall. A lot for...
Who are your top 10 picks in a Superflex where TEs also get 1.75PPR.
For reference in this 12-teamer, here are player 1 and 12 for each of the skill positions from 2020:
QB1- 570 points
QB12- 420
RB1- 408
RB12- 234
WR1- 388
WR12- 272
TE1- 392
TE12- 190
Obvious bias towards QBs based...
