This is not a wdis or look at my team.
McFadden is going against me in my money league and I have him in my dynasty league, which are the two main ones I care about.
I'm thinking about playing him in my dynasty league so that if he goes off I at least get to feel good about starting him there...
I like the guy but don't see him above guys like Branch, Bell, Pollard. Borbely has him #1 in dynasty and Norton has him at 18. That's a pretty wide gulf. Prime fodder for an IDP face-off?
I just snagged this guy in the 6th round of my dynasty draft based purely on Borbely's ranking and decent...
Being a Bears fan I should hate the Packers, but it's the kind of rivalry that gives you a grudging respect.
The one team I have always hated more than any other team in the NFL is the Cowboys. I hate their owner, most if not all of their great players (Aikman's ok but Emmit, Irvin, TO, Deion)...
I might be remembering this as worse than what it was but I remember Stafford getting killed back there last year. Has Detroit made any moves to substantially improve their unit from last season? Looking for :wall: thoughts on this. Borbely, I'm looking in your direction.
Seems like if that...
I don't care when you get a receiver who gets you 450 yards a year (28 ypg), even in the 100th round, if you have to start dude more than once it's hurting your team. And if you don't have to start them all year, they do nothing for you anyway.
You should spend your time analyzing what...
If AJ Smith brings in TO at the vet minimum, Vincent Jackson loses whatever bargaining power he believes he has. He'll know that the Chargers can do without him for 2010 and he'll know that they know that.
One of two things happen, both of which benefit San Diego:
1. VJ makes good and sits the...
I loved this kid in college and like most have gotten down on his prospects for the 2010 season, but are we all wrong on this one?
Consider that:
The Bills know they don't have the pieces to win this year.
The Bills know that Marshawn isn't the answer and want to move on.
The Bills know that...
If you go with 1st tier of qb as being a reasonable chance to get 4300+ yards and eclipse 26 tds then I'd say your tier is this:
brees
Brady
pmanning
rivers
Rogers
schaub
romo
will get close
favre
pretty big tier 1
if your line for rb is over 1700 combined and 10+ tds the. Your tier...
OK, I get that he has ideal height and weight, and decent speed (4.9-4.53) but what really separates him from the rest of the field? His situation used to be perfect for RBs but the line and situation are inextricably linked to LT2. When it was on, impossible to say whether LT made his line look...
Seems like Oakland had a pretty good draft that included two tackles, plus they got Campbell so they actually have a decent QB. Does this help McFadden at all, or just present a small window of opportunity for offseason trade dumps in dynasty?
Dude is limited all week, falcons run game is rolling, qb is swooning, and panthers pass d is ranked sixth and run d is 26th or something like that. What do people expect out of him today? Im thinking it has a good chance of being a pretty quiet day again.
Watching Felix Jones run this preseason I kept thinking there was no reason whatsoever he can't be a lead back. Now that Dallas has said he and Barber will share carries and occasionally the field, does anyone else see him taking over the lead role by week 4 or 5?
Just thought I would make a thread for all observations
I think Felix Jones ends the season as the fulltime starter in Dallas
McFadden will make up in big plays what he lacks in moving the pile
Russell looks a little shaky but better than advertised
Chaz Schillens will be the Raiders leading...
ok, the logic is this: blocks are really hard to judge and say what's a pancake and what's not. Also, obviously the nfl won't be doing this so league managers would have to track it themselves, initially. The main point of the o-line is two things: either protect the qb long enough to complete a...
In five season he has only played 16 games once.
For the past two seasons he has not topped 1200 yards rushing
For the past two seasons has averaged 7 total TDs
For the past two seasons he has not cracked the top 10 in rushing yards
Only one top ten placement in receiving yards (10th) in the...
I have begun noticing this year that Rotoworld blurbs are increasingly selective in what they cite from an article. Many have pointed this out, but I think it deserves its own thread for those that are, as I was, unaware of just how selective they are in what they tell you. Here is a perfect...
Chad:
Pros: Always racks up big numbers in year end totals. Plays on what should be a healthy passing attack
Cons: Inconsistent week to week, Cincy looks to be in shambles, shoulder injury, may not even be the best receiver on his team. Many people think that Cincy's spotty o-line play is...
I'll give him the 20 on 15 against Minny when his hammy was more hurt, but what really kills me is McCarthy's playcalling. His use of his backs adverstises his play calling. He takes Grant out every single time he passes, therefore opposing defenses know that every time Grant is in the game GB...
