Bold call that worked: Prior to the year, I had Calvin as the #1 WR in any format, dynasty and redraft. I took him over Andre and Larry in startups, and took him as the first WR off the board in redrafts. I projected 85/1400/13 TD's for Calvin this year. I will end up a little bit off on that...
3 games into the season he has 15/238/1.
Not a bad start and he has the Texans porous pass D up next.
What does everyone think about the start? Fluke or for real?
I think he gets underrated because he was a mid round draft pick, but it looks to me like he has all the tools to be a #1.
Thoughts?

I thought it would be interesting to take a look at the consensus rankings of 2011 prospects a year prior to them being drafted. It will be interesting to see how much really changes over the course of a season. This is not a poll of who you think will have the most successful career. It is...
I have been playing FF for about 8 years now, and I have yet to ever do a single set of projections. I honestly don't think the value gained from doing them is worth the amount of time it takes.
A majority of the projections I see from people follow some type of pattern like this....
Player X...
I thought this might get some good discussion going on the 2011 class. I do not consider myself to be an expert at evaluating players by any means. I do, however, watch a ton of college football. I also follow recruiting very closely so a lot of these players I have been tracking since before...
After taking a couple college stats classes I did a lot of research for a paper on baseball statistics. I chose baseball statistics because the information was more readily available and I felt the rules of baseball would be better understood by my audience. I am much more interested in...
Assume 12 team PPR, standard in every other way (ie no return yardage).
Does Mathews landing spot push him ahead of Dez?
What does Spiller landing in Buffalo do to his value?
With the draft kicking off tonight I was thinking about what I would like to see as a fan tonight and over the rest of the weekend. As a Lions fan, this draft is more relaxing than past ones. I feel like from where the Lions are positioned in the draft they really can't screw things up. One...
Had an argument with someone the other day on the subject. I said to me Louis Delmas was one of the 10 best rookies so far this season. He said no way. It got me to thinking what would comprise a top 10 list. Not having the NFL package I don't get all the games so I have to rely on what...
