Not only is Green Bay an anomaly, the situations aren't really comparable. Green Bay's QBs were starters for a decade when their successors were drafted. Cousins has yet to take a snap for MIN. Plus, the pick was also significantly higher.
This makes zero sense on any level.
If ATL thinks they are competing: draft a player that helps now.
If they want to sit a QB behind Cousins for 2 years until they get rid of the contract: draft JJ.
Why give Cousins 100m when you know you like Penix?
The only explanation to me is that...

Well, you are not on my ignore list and I never ventured into the politics forum, so okay, I guess.
As a non US American „your“ politics are confusing anyways.
I think Joe achieved exactly what he wanted to do. The politics forum is closed so from time to time he starts post in here and the FFA that should‘ve went to the politics forum. It sometimes feels like a pattern and always helps updating the ignore list.
Completely with you on this one. The people saying that they will no longer watch the NFL or watch less are probably the same as the ones taking offense to a player taking a knee. If you look at the viewership numbers: they tell a obvious story.
