I just traded Dalvin Cook for Jay Ajayi in my salary cap dynasty league. Ajayi is $12 for this year and next. Cook is $2 next year then likely $17 for 3 more years. My team is 3-1 and in win now mode. So. How'd I do? I really like Cook so feeling mixed about it.
I was listening to the podcast this morning and I thought the guys said the Bloom predraft 100 was coming out today? Is that correct? Maybe I'm hearing things again...
Hi all,
I have tried searching and nothing is coming up. Wasn't there a Melvin Gordon thread of love at one point? Or an official thread. If so sorry and maybe any insights here can be merged.
I'm wondering about Melvin Gordon as either a buy low or sell medium in your eyes. Maybe Whisenhunt...
Hi FBRers,
Starting this thread because I searched and couldn't find one. So welcome to the all things salary cap thread.
I would love to hear about what your leagues are like. I play in a league which is unique I think. We have a $200 cap and a system where yoy don't have to sign players...
There are so many people with opinions scouting NFL prospects it is hard to know who to listen to. With that in mind, who do you think is the best at evaluating talent? Does it vary by position? Why are they good? And conversely, whose opinion do you discard and why?
Hi all:
As an owner of both Ridley and Vereen in a dynasty league, I've been wrestling with keeping these players rostered all season. Now the Pats running game is obviously a full blown RBBC for the rest of this year and possibly beyond. Or is it? The stake are high because if one of these...
I'm guessing that a sprain is not as severe or career threatening as the Lisfranc fracture, but can't be good news for a rookie WR (see below). For those who want more information on Lisfranc injuries, here's an article from the American Academy of Family Physicians...
Mike Williams has been inactive for the last few games. It seems that he's not going to get another chance in Detroit. So now what happens? I see three options:
1. Detroit keeps him and tries to coach him into a better player. This would be the option I would think makes the most since...
It seems highly likely that Tiki will retire after the season, but what do you percentage do you peg the chance of him shocking the world and playing next season. As a Tiki owner, I'd like to see what the informed public is thinking. Especially since we've seen some public reversals of...
Signs of a pulse from Mike Williams. I took a flier on him in my keeper league. If you have roster space and he's available you have very little to lose by stepping up. Marinelli is either 1) warming up to Williams or 2) pumping up his value in hopes of a trade.
WILLIAMS IMPROVING: Marinelli...
I searched and searched but couldn't find the old thread, so could someone refresh my memory: which 2 team defenses were optimal when combined based on the schedule? It was either Buffalo and New England or Miami and Buffalo. I think. Anyone remember?
Housh also had a great night, but apparently bruised his heel late in the game. It doesn't sound serious, but it got me thinking of which WR could step in and be productive if Housh were to miss any significant time. Kelly Washington is listed as the #3 on the depth chart and he also grabbed 2...
I searched but didn't find much. Can someone update on where they stand with their legal troubles? Is either player likely to be suspended during this season? My impression is that it is likely for Henry, but unlikely for Holmes.
Browns | Droughns due in court next week
Thu, 17 Aug 2006 06:22:53 -0700
Patrick McManamon, of the Akron Beacon Journal, reports Cleveland Browns RB Reuben Droughns is due in court for a pretrial conference on his domestic violence case Aug. 21. Said head coach Romeo Crennel: "If they say...
Sounds like Chambers will get fewer deep targets. Something to consider heading into this season.
