Atlanta playing chess against the rest of the NFL’s checkers, and it only cost them a measly $180M to fool everyone that they weren’t after a QB at #8. Genius level IMO. 😁
Don’t think I’ve ever quoted myself, but I’m so GD happy that we are finally, for the first time ever, being aggressive and targeting impact players vs trying to get cute and accumulate seven 4th-6th round picks.
SKOL!
I’m sure that will be true, as these guys in the NBA have the best resources available to them and nothing but time to work on their games. He should improve.
That said, he will enter the League at the very lowest level of the athleticism spectrum, and that’s not likely to change. I don’t...
I was thinking the same thing in the first 10 minutes of that game. Then I felt like he proceeded to lose that, and some, over the next 30 minutes. I just don’t see how he is successful beyond a 10 minute per game reserve role in the League. His game just simply can’t translate.
I never said he shouldn’t be in the NBA, or won’t have a role. But if my team has a top 5 pick and that’s what we end up with, I’m not optimistic and quite frankly, would be pretty sick about it.
Can’t believe Clingan is a projected top 10 pick. I mean, I get the upside of it all defensively. But he’s sooooooo far from contributing in the NBA offensively that I’m sick if my team burns a high pick, potentially even top 5, on him.
Exactly this. I’m so GD sick of the Vikings trading down, trading down, and trading down to acquire additional 4th-7th round picks that I could punch a wall. Move up when you can, and add some blue chip prospects. Love this trade.
This is for sure the first time this has happened, where a team had a chance to still compete in a one score game and opted not to. Any coach with half a brain, in a one score game, whom could stop the clock to force the other team to make a decision on attempting a field goal or punting, would...
This is more or less the message we shared with our oldest when she was ~9 years old and was pretty well certain that Santa did not exist.
“Santa Claus” is about doing things for other people, to spread joy and cheer. It’s not necessarily simply about the idea of Santa bringing/giving gifts...
Wholeheartedly agree, the Vikes should be approaching this like the Rams and getting their star receiver back in the game ASAP so that he can be plagued by this the remainder of the year, likely miss more games, and be wholly ineffective when he’s available. 👍🏻
