The Wes Welker ascension was a byproduct of Randy Moss, plain and simple. There would not have been a Welker without taking the safeties out of the middle of the field. Moss did this in Minnesota, elevating Cris Carter's game as well. People will soon realize this now with Moss gone.Price has...
(MJD) Not really a fit for this list as he is a proven commodity who's struggling a bit so far. The list is more about guys who are either unproven yet hyped to the hilt or guys who have been at least pretty good and are going downhill quickly. MJD has been too studly to really complain too...
"Didn't I tell you my life was a lie, Jim"........What a classic line! :2cents:
This story has the makings of at least a True Life documentary or maybe even a big-screen melodrama. Once we find out how the story ends, whether tragic or triumphant, I'm on board to learn more about this life...
There are several players who need to answer the bell and start producing. Guys like McFadden, Floyd, McCoy, and Sanchez, all entered this season with something to prove, and each has stepped up their game, at least to some degree.
Here is a list of suspects whom I believe it is about time for...
Sorry, I'm simply in total denial regarding a lockout. It makes absolutely zero sense for the NFL to crap on their fans and stunt their ascending growth based on a few $100M, when we're talking about a multiple-billion dollar revenue stream. That would not be bad business, that could be a...
Maybe you should look at his QB rating, this far outweighs completion pct, which is factored in (subset) to QB rating. And the bottom line is that he is 2-0 as a starter, about to be 3-0. His ypa is off the charts as well. Vick is the NFL MVP as of today.
For those of you who went all-in with Shonn Greene, what are you thinking now?
As I've never been a believer in him as nothing more than a Rudi Johnson type (best case), it seems like he isn't running with the same decisiveness that he exhibited late last season. I was almost willing to say...
Yep! You are the one who put him on my radar. After you drafted him in that league, I took a really good look at him, gave him the 'stamp' as a potential stud talent, then acquired him in like 3 other devy drafts.
Rudolph looks slow and very stiff, which is what I thought just from seeing some of his highlights, even the big plays he's made.......I don't think his game will translate to the next level as a top TE. Kyle Brady-esque looking career to me. Watched him run quite a few routes today, not fluid...
Alshon Jeffery might just be the 2nd best WR in all of college football.....behind AJ Green.
Jeffery is a beast, looking eerily similar to BMW while at USC (Trojans).
Schilens is still their best WR. He just has to stay on the field. This season is probably a lost cause for him, but I still believe he has very good long-term potential as a mid- to high-end WR2 in fantasy.
Man, you guys are ruining this thread with all of this semantic mumbo-jumbo. To each his own regarding their agendas in Dynasty Leagues.
How about this. Why don't the homers for each team give a brief analysis or status update of their favorite franchise (NFL) with regards to players current...
I'm out in PAC-10 country, and I believe A.J. Green is ceratainly at the top of the list for the 2011 WR class and is at least as good as Dez, and quite a bit better than Crabtree. I could care less if he plays this year or not, I've seen enough games and highlights of his to make my call...
From what I saw, both defenses played very well. But I see two pretty clear distinctions here that prompt me to say that the Ravens simply have the better team......at least right now.
First, although both defenses can be dominant, the front 7 is where there is quite a bit of separation, with...
Dyer is definitely a potential star....top pedigree coming out of H.S.But also don't sleep on Cam Newton....Kid will be playing QB on Sundays.....Vince Young with much better passing ability....could be the sleeper of the 2011 draft
My Top 10 Greatest.......As I started finalizing the list, I saw that I needed to list 12.
12. Barry Sanders RB
11. John Elway QB
10. Don Hutson WR
9. Joe Montana QB
8. Anthony Munoz OT
7. Reggie White DE
6. Ray Lewis LB
5. Walter Payton RB
4. Johnny Unitas QB
3...
I will almost feel vindicated in a way. Because Reggie Bush will be electrifying this season. 12 TDs or more, back over 70 receptions.....Return of the PPR monster!
