2024 Philadelphia Eagles - In an effort to make up for last year’s collapse, Howie orchestrates an all-time pandering to the fans draft.

Still holding out hope that Patrick Surtain is an Eagle by the end of the day. 22 and 53 should get it done for a top 3-4 CB for the next 5 years. DO IT!!!!

Did he bet against his team? Or for his team to win? I generally agree with you, but there’s definitely a distinction between the two. The former implies that he could’ve done things to throw games.

I am actually kind of shocked that they didn’t schedule an AFC matchup, like against the Browns. I agree, missing out on Green Bay coming to link is a travesty.

Only explanation is that the locker room rumor bs had some merit and the issue was partially with Hassan. No other reason to not keep him. If they extended him they’d free up cap space. I am not a fan of this at all.

If you told me two years ago that we’d be getting a two year in a row, double digit sack guy, and then that guy would go onto get nearly 30 sacks in two years for us, and then we’d trade him for a **** pick two years from now….i wouldn’t believe you.

Ok I don’t recall it being that many folks but if anyone knows Eagles fans it’s you.

There was a not insignificant section of eagles fans that were pissed when Howie let him walk. Just an fyi.

I wonder what's going on with Hassan and Sweat. I'm guessing one of them will be gone. Maybe trade Sweat and extend Reddick, which would actually free up more $$. ETA: They are both under contract and are not really cap liabilities so getting rid of them doesn't make much sense from a...

you might be right. My main point was that its a really bad cap hit-I think $9-10 million-if they cut him.

He’ll be on the team. His cap hit is brutal if they release him. Better to have him fill a spot and not play. Seriously. But I think he’ll be better with a good DC and better talent around him.

    CJGJ back with the Eagles!!

    RB Saquon Barkley, PHI

Going back further I think of Marshall Faulk. He was such a great talent coming out of the draft and was on such a mediocre Indy team for the first 4-5 years of his life. Gets traded to the Rams and becomes one of the best RBs to ever play the game, winning a super bowl and a league MVP. I we...
