I don't agree. I don't think it's the players ability but I do think it's reasonable for coaches to take this into account when they put together the game plan.
"Hey it's Andre going up against his old team. Let's see where we can get him involved more in this game".
Whelp, same story 2 years in a row. My team was doing very well except I spent $58 on Charles and CJA. Last year it was $55ish lost on ball and Martin. I still have bell, Ingram and cmike so I'm hoping for CJA or cmike break out and save me.
Algorithms can work on a large scale over time. They do not work on the micro level. This applies to everything.
Ex: You can't predict how many accidents a person will get into this year. You can predict how many accidents a group of 100,000 people will get into this year.
Yes, algorithms are...
"Like if FD or DK offered a premium subscription service to give this information away overwhelmingly the people would this information would be more profitable than those that didn't."
You mean like how FBG offers a premium service to give information away only to thier subscribers? My FBG...
I put in $25 and had 4 fun weeks of rooting for my players and am looking forward to next week. Even if I lost that money it was worth it for the fun alone. There is no scenario where I am getting "flayed" here lol
Ya you missread my post and made your own conclusion for me.
This isn't a viable way to make money. This is for fun. I happened to make money so far so I'll keep playing.
If anyone is this worried about being cheated but enjoy playing, dont play the lottery style tournaments. Stick to h2h and...
The argument against the daily sites isn't adding up to me. Unless they start putting in lineups after the games are played, you can't really cheat the system.
You can in theory hack the system and see the poker cards a player is dealt. You can't do anything to see the stats a player will put...
$200 isn't handed to you at the start. They disperse it out as you play more games and pay more vig. Think of it as free vig until that amount is used up.
Det gave up 69 rushing yards per game last year vs 112 per game this year.
That big of a difference and they even replaced suh with ngata.
They were a playoff team last season and 0-4 this season.
Suh playing like he did last season is well worth what he is making now imo
Ditkaless is pretty spot on here. Saying teams value the DT as the 2nd most important position is totally wrong. Some of these high contract values are a result of there being so few eleites at the particular position. It allows you to do certain things that other teams cannot.
Det had the best...
I think using those $2 kickers to further strengthen a strong Kicker group is a good use of money. Using the $2 kickers as a way to avoid spending at the position at all is not a good strategy. A lot of teams did this spending only $4 or $5 at the position.
I think you would be better off if...
I'm not so sure that is the tradeoff. There are a lot of kickers that are capable of 18 point games randomly throughout the season. The lesser kickers will have a lower weekly floor which brings thier expected ppg and cost down. The more you have, the more likely your kicker group will have a...
I think it's easier to reliably increase your total points over the course of a season by spending the $3+$3 on the 3rd & def and kicker than it is by using that $3+3 for a skill position flyer or upgrade.I spent $15 on NE and IND kickers and it's already paid off. I made the week 2 cut by 5...
I've said multiple times I am fine with the posts that give some kind of value. I'm arguing against the Albino tiger type posts that he does so often. What I don't like is when he gives updates on players when there is no update to give.I think everyone is assuming I want Faust to stop posting...
Well no, it's a lot faster and easier to go to the site. You can search by player, position, skill positions, team and date. Every blurb is sorted by the most recent firsthttp://www.rotoworld.com/playernews/nfl/football-player-news/
To me, a dead thread is one that no one has posted on in some time and continues to generate zero discussion after it is bumped.
And no. I've never suggested that I am the authority on everything. Like Dr. Roboto and a few others in this thread, I will ask you what is the point of saying I said...
