This could also be coined an under/over reaction thread.
We all know who the big time WW targets are this week (from John Ross to Malcolm brown etc.).
But I want to know what players the group in here thinks it’s safe to drop.
For instance, justice hill? After one week? Safe to drop him...
Arizona -
- is the kingsbury offense the real deal and can it do well against NFL defenses?
- are they really going to run the most offensive plays in the league?
- is kyler Murray the real deal?
- which wr will be the one to own?
- is this a better situation for DJ?
Balt
- is Lamar...
Forgive me if there is a thread like this already for this season I tried searching but didn’t find.
If you could choose whatever pick you wanted (or area of the 1st rd - early, middle, late) in your draft his year, why would it be and what is your reasoning?
im actually thinking that the 12...
- E. Sanders is case keenum’s new thielen, but better.
- The bills really are as bad as we thought.
- the browns really might have something special brewing. excited to see what they can do in better weather and with josh Gordon not limited.
- Kenny stills is tannehill’s #1 wr
- tyreek...
Both 2nd year players. Trubisky with more nfl starting experience. Both have weapons around them. Trubisky has Nagy who was from KC. Does he fantasy community simply believe that Mahomes is that much more talented than trubisky? Mahomes was drafted in most 12 team leagues, trubisky wasn’t.
for me it’s a tie bw
1) dropping Marvin Jones after week 5 literally the week before he started playing like we thought he would this year when we drafted him. Now he’s doing it for another team while we have to decide bw doctson and Martavis Bryant this week. (I️ have to write “we” instead...
Soulfly gave me this idea in one of his threads. Here goes:
every week from now until the end of the season, pick ONE player at any position of your choice that is widely available on waiver wires (under 50% ownership) that you believe will have a top 10 finish at his position for that week...
For anyone worried about rolling out Alex Smith,Kelce, or Tyreek Hill this week vs Steelers "vaunted" pass defense, take a look at who they have played thus far this year:
Week 1: Kizer
Week 2: Bradford/Keenum (Not sure if Bradford was knocked out of that game or didn't start)
Week 3...
So this guy comes into the game in week 5 after half time, puts up 194 yards, 2 tds, and 30 yards rushing in 2 quarters of football. He went 16-19 passing and had a 122.4 QB rating. and his best WR is David Njoku!
and now is the starter of the browns for at least this week.
And there is...
The more I mature as a fantasy player, the less I pay attention to weekly rankings. We are 2 weeks into the season and I realize that I have not even once looked at anyone's weekly rankings to determine who I want to start on my squads.
I just look at my guys, look at who is performing and...
I have the displeasure of owning Russell Wilson this season. And to compound things I didn't even draft a competent backup qb.
After 2 weeks of gawd awful suckage, I decided that Wilson hits my bench until I actually see him finally break out. So to the waiver wire I went.
I ended up...
Crappy football. Injuries to key players. Poor lineup decisions. Poor waiver/fa moves. Facing kareem hunt or Brady in the first 2 weeks.
For whatever reason (or for all of the reasons above), our teams are cellar dwellers after 2 weeks of the season.
We worked so hard. We spent hours...
Miami and TB miss game one BC of Irma.
Offenses that should be good look sluggish and flat out bad.
Stud fantasy players busting through 2 games.
Loads of significant injuries.
Mulligan?
Didn't see any threads dedicated to him. Don't know much about him but the bears are decimated at wr and just promoted him the the active roster.
I watched his highlight reel from college and he looked explosive. Why was he undradted? Anyone very familiar with him?
Could he be this years...
Finished dead last last season. Horrible year. In a rebuild. Here is my team for 2017 let me know your thoughts:
qbs: arodg, Palmer, trubisky (couldn't believe I got trubisky in the auction and he didn't get drafted in the rookie draft)
rbs: Rawls, Doug Martin, mccaffery, Jonathan williams...
Here are mine:
1) christian mccaffery will win rookie of the year and the panthers offense will run through him by the 2nd half.
2) fournette will bust.
3) gurley bounces back and puts in the kind of year everyone thought he would have last year.
4) zay jones and cooper kupp outproduce...
I have been hosting a long time dynasty league on MFL since 2006. While we like how customizable MFL is, we hate literally everything else about it! The site is archaic, has terrible functionality, not user friendly, you have to be a rocket scientist to use their blind bidding waivers system...
Pure and simple. Want to become a better fantasy football player in your redraft leagues? Join a dynasty league!
I've been in redraft leagues since 1999. I started a dynasty league in 2006. Since 2006 I have noticed I draft and manage my redraft teams way better.
dynasty leaguers...
