Seems like Tigers fans feel the need to give disclaimers before saying anything about them: It's early, not much hitting, beating bad teams. I don't care about any of that because all I wanted for the Tigers was to stay competitive in April for a change.
All of their games have been in pretty...
To me Reynold's contributions were more about being clutch than numbers. His box score would show 3 catches for 50 yards but they were all on third and longs and changed the outcome of the game.
Goff has played with him a long time going back to L.A. He trusted him in big spots and Reynolds...
Teams like the Lions and Niners would absolutely have a chance in the AFC. Other than Baltimore I'd pick them against any of the teams with "elite" QBs in the AFC.
The fact that everyone is convinced he's done is the main reason I think he scores a couple times this week. The Chargers will do what they've done all year to make up for their non-existent run blocking, have Herbert throw it 50 times. Just gotta hope Ekeler gets targets or rushes near the goal...
This reminds me of everyone's near-certainty that the Packers would cut Aaron Jones. I get that we're all expected to keep parroting that RBs are worthless and every GM will draft an RB instead of paying a single cent but that won't be true for all 32 NFL teams. Is saving a couple million really...
I'd also say the Chargers and Ravens have damn good offenses. They've torched many of the defenses they've played.
After the Ravens shredded the Lions they did the exact same thing to the Seahawks. Last week they put up 31 on Cleveland who has one of the top defenses in the league.
The...
Coaching, weapons and offensive system play way more of a role than gets talked about in forums. Put Jones on SF to start his career and Purdy on NE. Suddenly everything being said about one guy would be said about the other.
He might have to keep doing it until teams are forced to counter. This might be the first time I'm a little concerned about Kelce, mostly because KC's receivers don't scare anybody.
If I was a defensive coordinator I would do what Miami did, double and triple team Kelce until any other pass...
AJB is my favorite WR to watch since TO. I love physically dominant WRs who are just too strong to drag down. If he torches Dallas I'd say 2000 yards are in the cards.
Would you say the same if you knew Atlanta's QB and coaching would stay about the same? It seems clear that Pitts has more athletic ability and potential than Kincaid, but potentially being the #2 safety net target for Allen is a pretty ideal situation. Normally I favor talent over situation but...
Excited to watch Kincaid tonight. I like that he catches everything thrown his way to earn Allen's trust. Hoping to see some downfield targets and red zone looks added in.
@Sea, SF, @Cin, @Ind, PHI is straight up nasty to start the year. Coming out 2-3 is solid. With Kupp looking spry they look like a wildcard team to me.
Agreed, though the number of injuries seems on the verge of getting a little excessive.
This defense could be at another level with Houston and Gardner-Johnson making plays on top of everyone else,
I'm so impressed by Holmes and Campbell. Not only collecting talent but they all have the same...
Mixon has been efficient with a nonexistant passing game and terrible game scripts. They just played a dominant rush D on the road and he was over 5 ypc in the first half with no help.
Like you said Burrow is hurt and they're at rock bottom. This game is about forecasting - Mixon is a guy who...
Feels good. Outside of a meltdown in the second half against Seattle the defensive line has looked awfully impressive. They've shut down every running game and they're getting to the QB.
The offense has been solid and still has a lot of room to improve. It'll be nice to have Jamo in the mix to...
