Who do you like this week between Andy Dalton (home against Cleveland tonight) or Big Ben (home against Oakland)? I'm leaning slightly towards Dalton but would appreciate your insight. Thanks!
I've got a question on lawn aeration. I was searching for info on-line and came across this discussion of a liquid aerator: http://www.natureslawn.com/notes-on-core-aeration.php
Within this is a link that talks more about this product. Has anyone ever used a liquid aerator like this? What I'm...
As long as we're speculating -- is it possible that Flynn just cost Rodgers the MVP? Brees is getting a lot more talk due to smashing Marino's record obviously, but I wonder if seeing a backup QB put up those huge numbers just ever-so-slightly diminishes what Rodgers has done.
It's true that he hasn't been consistent through all the games, but he's getting to the rim and knocking down those short-range jumpers that have kept the Mavs close. I also agree that Chandler has been great (all season), in a way that isn't always reflected in the stat lines, while logging a...
77. Dan McGwire; quarterback; Seahawks, Dolphins; 1991-95: In a 1992 game against the Cowboys, McGwire — a 6-foot-8, 243-pound tree of a quarterback (who happens to be Mark McGwire's younger brother) — was sacked four times before being knocked out in the third quarter. It was the best...
Run the ball successfully for a couple of big gains; they forget about the run for 2 short passes, an incompletion, and a punt. :excited: I guess this is why I'll never be an NFL coach.....
On a different note - does anyone use the voice service? I have had tv and Internet for years and been happy with it. Is the "voice" service VOIP over a phone line? How has it worked for you? Thinking of adding it to my U verse bundle.
I'm a 35 year old Saints fan, been watching this team since I was about 7. I honestly, truly never thought this day would come. It's beautiful. WHO DAT!!!!!!
I think the reason this rubs so many people the wrong way is that he comes across as complaining about the QBs he had. Sure, they weren't all-time greats, but how many guys have had that luxury? The guy has had a 14-year career, and every year (except Buffalo) has played with prolific QBs...
I think this was a classic "no one else really stood out much this year" award (though I thought it should have gone to Payton). Caldwell had a shot, but that weak crap he pulled against the Jets automatically disqualified him, IMO.
I didn't see this happen. What exactly did Brooking do? Was he complaining on the field? I'm not a huge fan of running up the score in the situation (though it doesn't really bother me), but to whine and complain it is even worse.
This is kind of a bigger question than just a game thread, but the heck IS going on what Palmer this season? Has he really regressed, or have they just altered their game plan that radically? If so, why are they paying him Peyton Manning money to basically be Trent Dilfer?
As a lifelong Saints fan, I should be thrilled with a 13-3 record and homefield advantage, right? Just not feeling it. I understand the rationale behind resting guys today, but just very disappointed seeing them lay down and entering the playoffs with a 3 game losing streak, especially...
