Background:
Guillotine leagues combine Survivor Leagues with Fantasy Football. Every week the lowest scoring team will be eliminated. The eliminated team’s players will be sent to the waiver pool and the remaining teams can bid on the new players.
This will continue until one team is left and declared the winner.
League Settings:
League will be hosted on YAHOO.
League will consist of 18 teams. League will have the championship round in Week 17.
Final league schedule and elimination weeks will be posted following confirmed total teams.
Draft will be a snake draft Aug 26th 9:15pm EDT
Rosters will consist of the following:
QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, FLEX, FLEX with 6 bench spots
Scoring will be as follows:
PPR scoring, 6 point Passing, Receiving, Rushing TDs, -3 points for INT. Bonus points for hitting passing, receiving, and rushing milestones.
Waiver Wire:
League will use the FAAB system for acquiring waiver wire players. Teams will start out with $1000 FAAB dollars.
Procedure for eliminating teams:
On Tuesday of each week, the commissioner will reset each team’s points to 0. The eliminated team will have their team’s placement in negative points.
The eliminated team will then have all players on the roster dropped by the commissioner and then their team will be locked from acquiring any more players.
Teams will then be able to bid on the eliminated teams players to strengthen their own team.
League buy-in and payouts:
League buy-in will be $50. League will pay out top 3 places.
1st- $550
2nd- $300
3rd- $50
