Plenty of one liners, it's got Buffy and Jennifer "bouncing" all around, what's not to love about this movie. I didn't care for the 2nd one and I've never seen the TV series so can't comment on that.

Just watched this thanks to Frostillicus and this thread. I remember when this came out a few years ago and I rewatched the original in anticipation but never got around to viewing this one. It is a good story and adds some layers to the mythology and the acting by the lead is quite believable. I was not aware Jordan Peele was involved in this but you can see his finger prints on it in a good way.

Never occurred to me to include this on a horror list but it is a legitimately great film.

Very surprised I was the only one who ranked this. A very creepy film, perfect for anyone interested in the history of Nosferatu and/or a slow burn vampire tale. Traditional and innovative all at once with amazing performances by John Malkovich and Willem Dafoe
I dont think I'd ever heard of it. Added it to my queue after watching the trailer though. Looks great.

I actually paid to see that in the theater.
This one was actually kind of fun with all the call backs from actors like the nurse from the original and different characters like tommy and the cop. And boy howdy was it a bloody good time at the end with the whole town involved in the mayhem. Not a darkly fun as the predecessor but infinitely better than the last one.
Enjoyed this one too and the cast was pretty awesome in it as well. Won't spoil but there were some interesting scenarios on display.
I did not like David Gordon Green’s take on Halloween.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was entertaining and intense.
I was surprised this wasn't higher too. Although I did feel like the twist was blatantly obvious.
This just missed my cut. Solid, but kept moving it down as I found others I enjoyed more.
I liked the first one in this series quite a bit but it should have ended there instead of stretched out into a trilogy

I liked this movie. You knew they were going somewhere with the premise, and I like that they let the suspense build before revealing the motivation. I agree with the earlier comment about the casting - they did a wonderful job with that.
