I would try to find a good shoe store and look at a combination of shoes and sole inserts for PF. Not a total cure, but can help a lot with pain/mobility/prevention. In Austin we go to a store called Karavel with long term employees that are very knowledgeable of foot/knee issues. Common brands of shoes (NB,Ecco, etc)-not custom orthopedic shoes. Vionic is popular brand with women with arch issues. I have a pair of Vionic men's slippers for the house. Slippers or shoes in the house is helpful if you have hard floors.
