He has been on and off my roster all season in a few shallower leagues.
In my main league, in which we keep five players from year to year, I was pleased to land him in a trade back around Week 4.
I held on for some time, but just can't see myself using him much, even if I make the playoffs.
We start 2-3 receivers each week. I had Demaryius Thomas, Allen Robinson, Martavis Bryant, John Brown and Donte Moncrief.
Last week, I cut Moncrief and picked up Tyler Lockett.
At this juncture, I like Lockett more than Moncrief for the coming weeks. I could very well regret that thought after Sunday.
I also currently like Lockett more than Moncrief as a potential keeper, though it is not likely I would keep either. As Moncrief has a good shot at being #2 on the Colts and Lockett is stuck in Seattle, this might seem odd. But, I've just not seen it all come together for Moncrief just yet. Lockett, OTOH, is an unknown. In that blank spece where I see his future, I can imagine all sorts of good things.
Moncrief is on the wire in my main league.
He is still on the wire in all my short bench leagues.
He could yet hit this season, get real hot.
But ... he has shown me so many poor weeks that it'd be hard to trust him at any point.
To my mind, Moncrief is rosterable in maybe 50% of fantasy leagues, the deeper 50% of leagues.
